Handcrafted in Fine Sterling Silver, this Aquamarine pendant features a 9x7 mm faceted gemstone set within graceful Balinese-style open scrollwork, radiating elegance. Measures 3.2 cm tall x 1.8 cm wide (1.23" x 0.7").
Aquamarine is a blue to blue-green variety of beryl, primarily mined in Brazil and found in deposits around the world. As the birthstone for March, it is celebrated for its serene, ocean-like hue.
The name Aquamarine comes from the Latin words aqua (“water”) and marina (“of the sea"), meaning “water of the sea.” Cherished since ancient times, Aquamarine was believed by the Greeks and Romans to be a sacred stone of Neptune, bringing sailors safety and calm seas.
