Elegant in its simplicity, this Rainbow Moonstone Oval Pendant in 925 Sterling Silver showcases a smooth 28x20 mm oval cabochon with natural iridescent flashes, set within a striped accent bezel. Measuring approximately 1.8" tall by 0.96" wide (4.5cm x 2.4cm), it offers a refined balance of light and detail.
Rainbow Moonstone is not actually a Moonstone, but rather, a clear Labradorite which is Feldspar. When less inclusions are present, this translucent stone will shine blue, but with more inclusions, this stone portrays a rainbow of colors, hence its name.
Moonstone was believed to contain moonbeams; Romans associated it with Diana, while Greeks linked it to Aphrodite and Selene, symbolizing love, fertility, and prophecy.
