Timeless and luminous, this Lotus Pendant showcases hand-inlaid Abalone Shell set in 925 Sterling Silver. Measuring approx. 1.25" tall x 1" wide (3.1 cm x 2.54 cm), the abalone’s natural iridescence creates a captivating play of color across its surface.
Abalone Shell, also known as Paua or Ormer, is a colorful calcium carbonate material admired for its wave-like patterns and vibrant rainbow iridescence. The shell is lined with natural nacre, or mother of pearl, composed of aragonite, the same material that forms the luminous surface of pearls.
