  • Genuine Baltic Amber Post Earrings handcrafted in Fine Sterling Silver. These earrings measure 7 mm including the bezel and feature 6 mm Baltic Amber cabochons.
  • Baltic Amber is a Fossil Resin, an organic substance originally produced by pine trees which grew in Northern Europe, present day Scandinavia, and along the shores of the Baltic Sea. The chemical structure of amber makes it dense, hard, resistant to external factors, and makes the preservation of plant and animal inclusions possible.
  • Considered to be a Gem, when polished, Baltic Amber glows with a translucent warmth and golden honey-like color. However, it is not actually a Gemstone. Baltic Amber is the hardened sap of certain types of ancient trees that have become fossilized over millennia.
