Mined from limited deposits in Brazil, fine material such as this has become increasingly difficult to source. Often known by its trade name “Super 7,” this remarkable quartz forms through a natural combination of 7 minerals: Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Cacoxenite, Rutile, Goethite, and Lepidocrocite. While not every specimen displays all seven inclusions, it is common to see the full spectrum within this material. Cacoxenite, most often found as an inclusion in quartz, appears as distinctive gold to brown needle-like formations that give the stone its signature fiery character.
