  • Danburite is a rare crystal first discovered in 1839 in Connecticut. With the original deposit lost beneath modern Danbury, it’s now found only in select mines, making each gem increasingly valuable.
  • Danburite is a very rare crystalline mineral similar to topaz with a high refractive index, this means it has more sparkle than many similar gemstones.
