Captivating and radiant, this pendant features an 8mm Ethiopian Opal sphere nestled within a handcrafted 6-point Sterling Silver star cage. The opal’s vibrant play of color shimmers with every movement, revealing flashes of blues, greens, and fiery reds that feel almost alive. Expertly crafted in fine 925 Sterling Silver, it measures approximately 0.8" tall and 0.5" wide.
Ethiopian Opal first entered the gem world in 1994 and quickly became celebrated for its naturally light body color and vivid internal fire, one of the most notable non-Australian opal varieties. Its global reputation grew further after the Welo discoveries in the 2000s, and today it remains a gemstone closely tied to Ethiopia’s natural heritage.
