Handcrafted in 925 Sterling Silver, these stud earrings feature a hand-selected 5mm faceted Carnelian set in a smooth bezel. A delicate 1.5cm chain with a flowing 4cm curled wire drop moves gracefully, catching the light and enhancing Carnelian’s warm, fiery red-orange tones.
Carnelian is a brownish-red to orange variety of chalcedony, a translucent to opaque form of quartz that occurs in shades of red, orange, brown, and pink. Its warm coloration is created by trace amounts of iron oxide within the stone. Crystallizing in the trigonal system, this Carnelian is mined in Brazil.
