This ring features a 14 x 14 mm square shaped Labradorite stone with a moon phase design on its bezel and a sturdy shank decorated with an octagram star on each side of the wide shank. The moon phase design on the bezel and octagram stars on the shank add an extra touch of intricacy to this already stunning ring.
Labradorite gemstones are typically dark in hue with metallic-looking color plays of blue, green, yellow, and red. Its gorgeous iridescence gives it the appearance of glowing from within.
First documented on Paul’s Island in Labrador, Canada in the late 18th century, Labradorite drew the attention of European explorers and collectors, who prized it for ornamental carvings, jewelry, and decorative objects throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries.
