  • Moon quartz is a variety of quartz that, when heated, displays girasol (an opal reflect). The word comes from the Italian girasole, which means to turn towards the Sun, and originally referred to a milky blue glass first produced in Venice during the Renaissance.
  • The inner luminosity of this unique crystal ball appears to move with the light, its milky opalescence and subtle violet glow strongly resembles the Moon.
