Designed as a sculptural sunflower, this Purpurite Pendant is handcrafted in Sterling Silver and measures approximately 1.58" tall by 1.2" wide (4.0 cm × 3.0 cm). A rich purple purpurite cabochon is bezel set at the center, framed by layered, intricately oxidized petals that create depth and contrast.
Purpurite impresses with its unusual natural purple color and a silky iridescent chatoyance, and sometimes a cat's eye effect. There are only a few locations worldwide: Our Purpurite comes from a newly discovered (2020) location in the gemstone fields of Minas Gerais/Brazil.
