Classic Pyrite Schist Round Post Earrings handcrafted in Fine Sterling Silver. These lovely earrings available in three sizes:
- 10mm gemstone, 12mm double bezel
- 12 mm gemstone, 14mm double bezel
- 14 mm gemstone, 15mm double bezel
Pyrite, often called Fool’s Gold, is a common iron sulfide mineral with a metallic brass luster often forming in cubes or as thin layers on fossils or other minerals such as Pyritized Ammonites.
Pyrite Schist is only found in the Hartz region of Germany, which is know for its perfectly formed small Pyrite crystal, in a very black matrix.
Each Pyrite Schist crystal pattern is naturally unique and may differ slightly from the image, though the overall shape and color balance will be similar.
