  • Ruby, the red variety of corundum, is a gemstone of remarkable rarity and beauty. Ethically sourced from Mozambique, it glows in shades of pink-red to deep crimson. Its name comes from the Latin “ruber,” meaning red, and for centuries it has been celebrated as the “King of Gems” for its vivid color and timeless allure.
  • Star Ruby is the rarest type of Ruby that displays a rayed star-like reflection of light (an asterism) on its surface when seen under direct light. The star-like patterning in crystal structure is created by rutile inclusions, which result in the six-rayed burst.
