  • Pyrite often called "Fool's Gold". Pyrite is the most common iron sulfide mineral on Earth and is found in shale, coal, limestone, schist, and many deposits of metallic ores.
  • Pyrite Schist is only found in the Hartz region of Germany, which is know for its perfectly formed small Pyrite crystals, in a very black matrix.
