Blue Ice Glacierite is a rare, recently discovered material found in Indonesia. It forms as an industrial byproduct, specifically beta-aluminate (sodium-aluminum oxide) from smelting processes in that region, and its striking blue color comes from trace amounts of cobalt and vanadium.
