Abalone Shell, also known as Paua or Ormer, is a colorful calcium carbonate material admired for its wave-like patterns and vibrant rainbow iridescence. The shell is lined with natural nacre, or mother of pearl, composed of aragonite, the same material that forms the luminous surface of pearls.
