Handcrafted in 925 Sterling Silver, this pendant features a finely carved eagle head in natural Labradorite. Set in a medallion-style frame with a fixed square bale, the 30 mm round stone reveals subtle flashes of iridescence and intricate detailing. Measures approx. 1.65" tall by 1.35" wide (4.2 × 3.4 cm), making it a standout statement piece.
Sourced from Madagascar, Labradorite is a semi-precious feldspar mineral that forms as thin, tabular, or massive crystals. Its grey to brown base color interacts with its internal crystal structure, producing flashes of blue, green, and yellow, with rare hints of pink or purple. Stones displaying the full spectrum of colors are known as Spectrolite.
Following its discovery in the late 18th century, Labradorite attracted the attention of European explorers and collectors, who prized it for ornamental carvings, jewelry, and decorative objects throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries.
