Crafted in Fine Sterling Silver, this pendant features a hand-carved eagle head in natural Fossil Wood, showcasing unique earthy patterns formed over time. The approx. 30 mm round carving is set in a medallion design with a fixed-style square bale. Measures approx. 1.65" tall by 1.35" wide (4.2 x 3.4 cm).
Fossil wood, or petrified wood, is formed when plant material is replaced by silica minerals such as quartz during permineralization. This process preserves the original structure of the wood while creating a dense, stone-like material with intricate growth patterns.
