Crafted in 925 Fine Sterling Silver, this medallion pendant features a hand-carved eagle head in luminous Mother of Pearl. Natural nacre tones add soft shimmer and depth to the approx. 30 mm round carving. Finished with a fixed-style square bale, the pendant measures approx. 1.65" tall by 1.35" wide (4.2 x 3.4 cm).
Mother of pearl, or nacre, is a composite biomaterial made of aragonite platelets bound by organic layers, forming the inner shell lining of mollusks. Its iridescence results from light interference across its microscopic layered structure.
