Starborn Milk and Honey Sumatra Amber (40-50 grams) – 1 Piece
- One piece of natural Amber, a rare type of Sumatra Blue Amber, characterized by a dark, rich honey brown tint and a white color, similar to milk. Weighing approximately 80-100 grams.
- This amber was discovered 100 meters down in a coal mine in Sumatra, Indonesia. The white tint comes from foam microbubbles that produce a whitish coating. You may envision it as whipped tree sap cream (foam formed millions of years ago by volcanic action) that then petrified.
- This unique amber specimen from the Indonesian island of Sumatra is estimated to be 15-30 million years old. Another unique quality of this material is its distinct aromatic fragrance when worked or exposed to flame.
- Each piece features raw or natural edges (not tumbled) with hand polished surfaces that shimmer with depth and sparkle within.
