One piece of natural Lion’s Mane Amber, a rare variety of Sumatra Amber, displaying deep honey-brown tones enriched with lighter caramel striations that create beautiful natural contrast, weighing approximately 80-100 grams.
Sumatran Blue Amber is named for the blue glow it produces when exposed to UV light. This color change produced by UV light is called the Usambara Effect.
This unique amber specimen from the Indonesian island of Sumatra is estimated to be 15-30 million years old. Another unique quality of this material is its distinct aromatic fragrance when worked or exposed to flame.
Each piece features raw or natural edges (not tumbled) with hand polished surfaces that shimmer with depth and sparkle within. Subtle blue reflections are caused by natural Sulfur inclusions.
