Crafted in 925 Sterling Silver, this Labradorite Chain Cage Pendant presents a polished 21–22 mm labradorite sphere, enclosed within a delicately constructed chain cage that accentuates its shifting iridescent flash. Measuring approximately 1.60 inches in length, including the bale.
This setting is constructed from interwoven Sterling Silver chains designed to securely hold the gemstone sphere. The stone is firmly seated within the open cage and cannot be removed without altering the setting.
Discovered in 1770 in Labrador, Canada, Labradorite is a feldspar mineral known for its shimmering schiller effect. Its grey to brown base color displays flashes of blue, green, yellow, and occasionally pink or purple, created by natural crystal growth patterns. Specimens showing the full color spectrum are known as Spectrolite.
Due to natural gemstone variation, slight differences in color and pattern may occur. Each pendant will closely resemble the images shown and is presented in a Starborn-branded gift box.
