Handcrafted in 925 Sterling Silver, this Rutilated Quartz Chain Cage Pendant features a polished 21–22 mm sphere nestled within a flowing cage of interwoven silver chains. Measuring approximately 1.60 inches including the bale, the golden rutile threads shimmer with every movement, creating a captivating, luminous effect.
This setting is constructed from interwoven Sterling Silver chains designed to securely hold the gemstone sphere. The stone is firmly seated within the open cage and cannot be removed without altering the setting.
Rutilated Quartz forms when fine rutile crystals grow inside quartz under exceptionally precise conditions. Some of the most prized specimens come from Minas Gerais, Brazil, where limited pockets produce clear quartz infused with brilliant golden needles. High-quality material from this region is increasingly rare to mine.
Due to natural gemstone variation, slight differences in color and pattern may occur. Each pendant will closely resemble the images shown and is presented in a Starborn-branded gift box.
