Handcrafted in 925 Sterling Silver, this Purpurite Chain Cage Pendant features a polished 21–22 mm sphere cradled within a flowing cage of interwoven chains. Measuring approximately 1.60 inches including the bale, the rich purple stone catches the light beautifully, revealing flashes of vibrant color with every movement.
This setting is constructed from interwoven Sterling Silver chains designed to securely hold the gemstone sphere. The stone is firmly seated within the open cage and cannot be removed without altering the setting.
Purpurite is a rare manganese phosphate mineral with traces of iron. It impresses with its unusual natural purple color and a silky iridescent chatoyance, and sometimes a cat's eye effect.
Due to natural gemstone variation, slight differences in color and pattern may occur. Each pendant will closely resemble the images shown and is presented in a Starborn-branded gift box.
